Precise Calibration of the Continuous Surface Cap Model for Concrete Simulation

The Continuous Surface Cap Model (CSCM) is one of the most widely used concrete models in LS-DYNA. model capable capturing many important nonlinear mechanical behaviors well. has a built-in auto calibration procedure based on CEB-FIP code data. However, estimates material properties with significant errors, especially for tensile strength. Our study highlights imperfection automated by example one-element uniaxial tension and compression tests. A proposed, which significantly improves accuracy calculation: compressive strength fracture energy. It shown that proposed can describe structure defamations zone patterns more accurately.
